Michael Lee Rambin (Mike), aged 53, of Shawnee, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on April 14, 2024.
Born on November 11, 1970, Michael was an extraordinary father, husband, and friend to all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man of many talents and passions, excelling in various areas of life. With his innate musical talent, particularly on the drums, Michael shared his passion for music with his brothers and three sons, often gracing stages across Texas and Oklahoma. From Merle Haggard to Metallica, his musical repertoire knew no bounds.
Beyond his musical prowess, Michael was a skilled artist, cook, baker, and grill master. His creativity extended to woodworking, where he showcased his craftsmanship as a talented carpenter. His green thumb was evident in his ability to nurture and grow anything he set his mind to, making him a master gardener.
Michael's quick wit, great sense of humor, and charming personality endeared him to all who crossed his path. He found joy in bowling, golfing, painting, and indulging in his love for nature through gardening. His laughter was infectious, and his presence lit up any room he entered.
Michael is survived by his beloved wife, Renaye Stone, his cherished children Curtis Rambin, Dawson McElroy, and Colton Rambin, as well as his siblings Chris Melson, Marco Rambin Jr., Robert Rambin, and Debbie Vann. He also leaves behind a host of beloved cats who brought him immense joy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marco and Brenda Rambin, his grandparents Grandmother Bernice Rambin and Grandfather Curtis Rambin, and his brother Ronnie Rambin. He is also preceded in death by his Aunt Monica Rambin Maxwell and Uncle Mike Yoder.
Michael's memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him. His legacy of love, laughter, and creativity will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
A celebration of life will be held on May 3, 2024 at the American Legion located at 8608 NE 10th St Oklahoma City, OK 73110 from 6:30pm to 10:00pm.
